Executive Assistant.
To apply, send an email with your resume to careers@missionautonomy.ai.
This is two jobs in one, and both matter. Half of it is executive support: the founders' calendars, travel, follow-ups, and the dozen small things that fall through the cracks at a company our size. The other half is marketing: our LinkedIn, our graphics, our announcements, and how we look to the people we want to hire and work with.
You'll also be the first person a visitor meets and the one who knows where everything is. If you like being the person who holds the place together and gets to be creative doing it, this is a good seat.
What you'll do.
- —Run the founders' calendars, travel, and meeting prep, and chase the follow-ups afterward.
- —Own our LinkedIn — post regularly, engage, and grow the audience that matters to us.
- —Make the graphics: announcement art, one-pagers, slide decks, conference materials.
- —Help get press releases and website updates out the door.
- —Handle conference and trade show logistics start to finish.
- —Greet visitors, handle the front desk, and keep the office running — vendors, orders, supplies.
- —Pull together capability statements and proposal materials when they're due.
What we're looking for.
- —Seriously organized. You keep other people's commitments straight without being asked twice.
- —Strong writing — you can draft a post, an email, or an announcement and have it sound like us.
- —Comfortable in a design tool (Canva, Figma, Adobe) and confident making something look good.
- —You've run a company or brand social account, not just your own.
- —Discretion. You'll see contracts, hiring, and financials before anyone else does.
- —Self-starter — nobody here has time to assign you work every morning.
Nice to have.
- —Experience at a defense or government contractor.
- —Press, PR, or event planning background.
- —Video editing or photography.
- —You've built a LinkedIn following for a small company from close to zero.
U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
This role is on-site in Boston.
How we work.
Startup pace.
We're a small company with real contracts and real delivery dates. Priorities shift when a program or a test window shifts, and the work shifts with them. Expect to change direction more than once a quarter.
You run your own work.
Nobody hands out tickets here. You get a problem, the context around it, and the room to figure out the path. That cuts both ways — it means asking for what you need and speaking up early when something isn't working.
Wide scope, small team.
You'll touch things outside your title: a customer call, a proposal, a test rig, a job nobody formally assigned. If you'd rather stay in one lane with a clean spec handed to you, this isn't the right fit.
