Mission Autonomy AI wins multimillion-dollar award to deliver flight-tested, next-generation swarm technology to the U.S. Air Force.

Mission Autonomy AI (MAAI) has been awarded a multimillion-dollar contract by the U.S. Air Force to develop and flight-test next-generation swarm autonomy for unmanned aerial systems. MAAI builds autonomous systems and AI-driven decision making for defense.

Under the award, MAAI will mature its autonomous teaming technology from proven algorithms to operational flight demonstrations. Coordinated groups of unmanned aircraft will execute missions with reduced operator workload. The effort culminates in live flight testing.
